Group Move Management Services

Group / Facility Move Planning Consulting

Group move planning focuses on the development of agreed objectives, a corporate action plan, and an employee timeline for the move. Once planning is complete, the specific move population can be identified. Employees can also be segmented into key, important, and non-key to establish an appropriate severance program. In addition, assistance is provided in selecting appropriate suppliers who are integral to the move.

As experts in relocation program development, we can assist you with identifying your mobility goals in the context of your organization's strategic mission. Our Managing Consultants use their expertise to address complex relocation issues such as attracting transferring employees to high cost locations, total program cost reduction strategies, and consolidating a decentralized program, while simplifying the relocation process; ultimately developing a customized framework to build and implement a best-in-class mobility program.

The Employee Demographic Study

As a first step, a cross-referenced Employee Demographic Study is implemented to gather critical information about the move population so that accurate costs of employee benefits can be assessed. The survey provides cumulative personal and attitudinal information specific to the move population allowing for targeted program design.

Group Move Relocation Program Development and Policy Orientation

Paragon offers a systematic relocation program review to assist your organization with determining the appropriate benefits package for your group move. This process examines numerous benefit options specific to the group move population as well as the origination and destination cities. In short-distance group moves, a commuter program is often developed for those employees who do not meet move distance requirements.

A benefits access system is recommended to monitor move activity and provide documentation for tax purposes. Cost models are provided to demonstrate potential relocation expenses on both an individual and group basis.

Wage and Labor Survey

Paragon will provide a Wage and Labor Study to include:

  • Data collection and position matching
  • Employee interviews (phone or live) and labor assessment; Availability and Quality index created
  • Wage / availability / quality data analysis to determine the best "wage thresholds" and other labor needs for the Company
  • All results presented in report format with easy to read graphs and tables

Communications and Materials Development

Paragon prepares various communications materials to properly implement your group move based on organizational needs and budgetary requirements. These materials include announcement scripts, move invitations, newsletters and various employee brochures. Paragon can also develop a customized website to best display the destination city and other relevant information, which is vital to the success of a group move.

Relocation Destination Group Orientation Sessions

Orientation Programs are provided to familiarize employees with the relocation benefits applicable to their move. Group orientations are held for the employee, spouse and older family members to introduce the new area and to discuss relocation services that may be provided to assist with the family's move.

Area Orientation Tours

Paragon manages Area Orientation Tours prior to a homefinding trip to introduce the employee and spouse to the new community. The tour is designed to "sell" the new community and business location and to increase move acceptance. This service includes:

  • Development of the tour itinerary, program and budget
  • Review of all approved events and local suppliers
  • Assignment to a trained real estate agent to provide community orientation
  • Consolidated billing of all tour expenses
  • Paragon staff members available throughout the tour

Managed Area Orientation Tours are the most cost-effective means of introducing the destination area to the employee and spouse.
